New! Reg 137 and Reg 138
Harland Clarke is pleased to announce the release of new University content.

NEW! REG 137 - Regulation AA - Unfair or Deceptive Acts or Practices.
The Federal Trade Commission Act (FTC Act) requires each federal bank supervisory agency to institute procedures for handling consumer complaints involving unfair or deceptive acts or practices by financial institutions under its jurisdiction. Regulation AA is the result of this requirement for the Federal Reserve System. This course provides an overview of Regulation AA’s guidelines for unfair and deceptive acts or practices, and a comprehensive overview of the credit practices rule as found in Regulation AA and how it affects your financial institution.

NEW! REG 138 - Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act (Credit CARD Act). In May 2009, the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act, or the Credit CARD Act, was enacted to amend the Truth in Lending Act (which implements Regulation Z). This Act limits when credit card issuers can increase interest rates and bans billing and payment practices that the Federal Reserve considers to be “unfair or deceptive.” This course covers how the law affects credit card rates, terms and fees, and the youth market, and discusses the credit card disclosure requirements, penalties for non-compliance, and other related information.

These new courses are now available. We continually strive to bring you new and exciting course content that adds value to your learning experience. Look for continuing updates throughout the year.

We hope you enjoy this addition to the University.
